Dog Sisters

I've always thought it would be cool to have a pair of dogs, one white and one black, called Salt and Pepper; unfortunately German Pinschers don't come in white. But they do come in red. I'm so glad that our new red puppy gets along so well with our adult girl. They constantly play together and they are both gorgeous. They are just like cinnamon and pepper!

Titles Made Easy by Unforgettable Moments

One of my weaknesses in scrapbooking is title work. I suck at it. Sometimes I leave the titles off all together! Unforgettable Moments with Amy Peck has a new product out today that makes title work simple! These are layered templates. Clip your papers to the layers, add shadows; and voila! Your title is done. These titles coordinate with the May Buffet at Gingerscraps.

Reasons To Love Dogs

I snapped this photo of my dog, Rudy, this morning as he napped in bed next to me. He's so freakin' adorable. He's actually from a shelter. He was found half-starved, living on the streets. How anybody could abandon this guy is beyond me.

More July Vacation Layouts

I got a two page spread of some of our Independence Day Parade photos done. If you've been reading my blog for a while, then you might remember that we were actually in this parade. If you're new, you can read about that here. Some of these photos were taken by me while I was carrying the flag, like the one of those poor girls in the southern formals. They were marching behind us in the parade. I felt so sorry for them. It was hot and humid on that day and those girls must have been miserable. Other photos were taken after we were finished carrying the flag. We stood at the end of the parade route and watched for a while.
